1. Analysis of daily yarn market situation2. Search the required yarn at best possible rate & match the deliveries as required3. Collect maximum yarn rates from market sources4. Negotiate with the suppliers maximum efforts are made for minimum rates & optimal deliveries.5. After discussion & approval by the Director procurement, required yarn is booked.6. If yarn is conditionally approved then negotiate with the supplier/agent for quality improvement in next dispatches7. If yarn is rejected then negotiate with the supplier/agent for replacement & improvement ASAP so that production will not be effected8. Treat all the testing & complaint reports & discuss with the Director procurement & take necessary action on it.( e.g. e-mails to suppliers/agents to inform the results & problems)9. Search of new markets & develop new & better sources.10. Allocation of yarn sources in different PO’s after discussing with the Director procurement11. Follow up of dispatches on the committed dates12. Update daily yarn booking report13. Update daily yarn booking detail14. Update daily yarn excess booking report18. Update daily Yarn cost analysis report19. Update daily Yarn sale report20. Follow up Yarn Purchase/sale payment21. Update daily Yarn return DA report22. Working follow up of debit & credit notes23. Arrange the yarn of samples in special cone sizes or arrange rewinding/doubling if required24. Follow up BCI/Organic certificates from different suppliers and update to merchandiser
