Prime responsibility is to support International Space Station Program's Payloads Office via the ISS Boeing Engineering and Technical Support (BETS) contract. Responsibilities include collecting Payload flight data/requirements, and integrating those requirements into the ISS and Vehicle Programs, maintaining flight schedules, coordinating Certification of Flight Readiness (CoFR) activities, coordinating identification and closure of payload issues and risks, and supporting real-time mission operations associated with flight assignments. Additional responsibilities include supporting ISS requirements definition and schedules, teleconferences, and technical interchange meetings with the various customers including international partners.

Prime responsibility is to support International Space Station Program's (ISSP) Payloads Office (OZ) via the ISS Boeing Payload Integration (IPI) contract. Responsibilities include collecting Payload flight data/requirements, and integrating those requirements into the ISS and Vehicle Programs, maintaining flight schedules, coordinating Certification of Flight Readiness (CoFR) activities, coordinating identification and closure of payload issues and risks, and supporting real-time mission operations associated with flight assignments. Additional responsibilities include supporting ISS requirements definition and schedules, teleconferences, and technical interchange meetings with the various customers including international partners.

Prime responsibility was to support Space Station Training Facility (SSTF) and Shuttle Mission Training Facility (SMTF) networking hardware and peripherals (i.e. servers, switches, connectivity, etc). Tasks include: Receiving or generating requirements from internal and external customers within Flight Operations Engineering (FOE) Department; providing detailed design, costing, scheduling and engineering instructions for implementation; and testing/releasing hardware to operations as well as providing resolutions for any anomalies reported. Other duties include: Flight Operations Engineering Acquisition (FOE-Acq) Engineer – responsible for acquisition of requested Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) hardware and software for use in FOE and lead for the FOE-Acq process. This process is an expedited process to allow quicker delivery schedules for COTS items. Also responsible as the ITR (Information Technology Representative) for the Platform Engineering Department. This consists of tracking all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) hardware and software licenses for the department.

Prime responsibility was to support the International Space Station Program (ISSP) Manifest Team and provide matrix support to the ISS Launch Package and Increment Integration function. Serve as the focal point in the integration of the ISS flight (Shuttle and International Partners) vehicles and increment (on-orbit) manifests. Interface day-to-day with hardware providers, technical organizations, and assessing the manifest feasibility against vehicle transportation and ISS capabilities. Provide a thorough understanding of shuttle mission goals, requirements and priorities to assess hardware manifest requests received. Responsible for overseeing and assessing all engineering issues affecting the integration function and work with the NASA community, Launch Package Manager, Increment Manager and International Partners to identify issues and negotiate solutions/recommendations. Assess the integration process, to define efficiencies to programmatic processes and to document procedures. Responsible for managing the integration template, developing the Program-level document on flight manifests, and reporting manifest status to various ISS and SSP programmatic boards. Other activities include: Configuration Management (CM) of department desk-top procedures as a document coordinator to support USA’s ISO 9000 objectives.

Prime responsibility was to support real time operations of the International Space Station (ISS) as an ODIN (Onboard Data Interface Networks) flight controller. Tasks include: ISS CDH (Command and Data Handing) flight hardware & software management, ISS crew caution and warning management, support real time ISS Shuttle Assemble flights and Increment ground operations, crew and controller operations procedure development, crew & controller display development, support ISS crew & controller training, support International technical relations with ISS International Partners (primarily Russian Partners) by participating in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM), support ISS Command And Telemetry Team (ICATT) cycle production support for ISS assembly flight cycles, support ISS flight hardware testing with KSC-Boeing and local counterparts. Other activities include: Task scheduling and training coordination for group members, point-of-contact for specific Command and Data Handling hardware and Computer Based Training (CBT) development support for USA training Dept.

Prime responsibility was to plan and perform system/subsystem research, develop system/subsystem designs, system/subsystem detail documentation, and specify system/subsystem components for JSC’s display and communications equipment (specifically for analog and digital voice and data transfer within the facility). Performed make or buy analyses, established test criteria and provided operational information. Developed independent engineering studies to determine cost effectiveness of modifications or replacements. Delegated Support for Maintenance and Operations facilities when system/subsystem failures occurred or when modifications were needed. Delegated Project Requirements to associate engineers as required. Other activities included project management (interfacing with many internal departments and external vendors) of board build projects supporting JSC’s Digital Voice Intercommunication Subsystem (DVIS) upgrade and expansion from the operations facilities to the training facilities.

Prime responsibility was to provide engineering assistance to the Network, Console & Voice Branch. Task involved the support to senior engineers for the maintenance and operations of JSC’s data, voice and video systems/subsystems maintained under the Space Flight Operations Contract (SFOC).

Prime responsibility was to provide technical assistance to engineering personnel in the Voice & Network Interface Section.
