After retiring, she served as an office manager for a local financial advisor. Two years into this role, she found a new calling and started a second career – educating pre-retirees on retirement options and helping them make plans for their next stage in life. Sheila is a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, attaining her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. Along with being in the University Band, she was also a Sigma Chi Little Sister. Sheila is life, accident, health, and variable insurance licensed in the states of Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia and holds a Series 7 and 66 FINRA securities registration. In 2021, she added the Certified Long-Term Care certification due to her belief that retirement planning wisely includes plans for funding any possible long term care event.Sheila is a lifelong resident of Chattanooga and enjoys the renaissance of her hometown that has resulted as people move in from all over the country. In her spare time, you’ll find her working in her yard, or on a walk or bike ride. She sings in the Sanctuary Choir at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church and helps with the children’s choir ministry. She is also involved in the local Junior Achievement program helping students understand the basics of money. She considers herself an American patriot and is grateful for all military veterans and those in active service.
