I am a Senior Medical Manager at Roche Diagnostics currently specialising in infectious disease. A dynamic and busy role supporting Medical Affairs activities to generate scientific evidence and providing education and support on all aspects of medical diagnostics. Partnering with clinicians, researchers and industry partners to demonstrate clinical utility and benefit to patient pathways. Formerly I held the role of Medical and Scientific liaison as part of the Medical Affairs team at Roche Diagnostics UK and Ireland. A varied role supporting pre and post launch activities for companion diagnostics and immunotherapy combinations. Interfacing between diagnostics and pharmaceutical colleagues at global and local levels, working specifically with PD-L1 specific immunotherapies. The field of cancer immunotherapy and companion diagnostics is rapidly developing and represents major advances in treatment of various cancers bringing significant benefits to patients with limited treatment options. Having held various management and leadership roles I have vast experience in people management and supporting across all areas of our Medical Affairs team.Formerly I was a Sales and Applications Specialist in Roche Tissue Diagnostics, a dynamic role providing advice and expertise on all areas of the Roche Tissue Diagnostic portfolio. I brought vast experience in the medical laboratory setting and an in dept knowledge of the customer perspective as a former Chief Medical Scientist at Sligo University Hospital, managing all aspects of a busy ISO 15189 Accredited Laboratory.
