Responsibilities include the determination and documentation of business requirements for initiatives identified by the business in support of the Phoenix Revenue Cycle Management project. Successfully adapted to an agile development methodology framework from a traditional waterfall one when requested to join this team. Consolidated and organized all original Phoenix services project documentation into preferred format utilizing Confluence collaboration software. Currently assigned as one of three BAs to map out requirements needed to replace current LabCorp Billing System (LCBS) with packaged software solution.

From 2007 - 2015, oversaw team of 8 individuals who were the lead business analysts for the Core Business team supporting the Revenue Cycle Management area of the company. Responsibilities here focused on the management of the prioritized projects as identified by the business units - assigning work, participating in requirements gathering and solutioning sessions, performing reviews of project deliverables and ensuring the achievement of all project milestones by identifying and resolving blockers to progress.From the beginning of 2002 to November of 2007, oversaw a combined team which at one point was a total of 15 people, including 2 supervisors that reported to me whose main function was to support the Revenue Cycle Management area's Compliance and CPT coding and Reimbursement areas. Responsible for designing, documenting, coding and unit testing of software to support the Revenue Cycle Management area of the company.Assigned to Functional Group Lean role within 6 months of being hired where was responsible for reviewing other team members' work for accuracy and completeness.Awarded the President's Award in 1998 for work on a major project to convert existing billing software to handle significant updates to the AMA's Current and Procedural Terminology code set.

Responsible for the designing, documenting, coding, unit testing, QA support and installation of software to support the Securities and Investment Division of the company. HP mainframe environment with coding done in COBOL. Heavy emphasis on adherence to the teams’ SDLC (software development life cycle) was paramount for this area, with multiple reviews of documentation, code and unit test results prior to being allowed into QA for testing. Provided after hours support in case of software failure.

Responsible for the designing, documenting, coding, unit testing, QA support and installation of software to support the Group Life and Health Departments of the company. Traditional waterfall development environment on an IBM mainframe with COBOL used as the programming language. Applications that were supported were the adjudication of medical, dental and life insurance claims for subscribers of the company’s group life and health insurance offerings.
