As an executive assistant at Defense Acquisition University (DAU), I leveraged my 25 years of experience in providing analytical and data services to support the administration and operations of the organization. I used DTS to facilitate travel orders for the Deans, and reconcile their vouchers after travel.I have a strong background in organizational development, having served as a director of this function at a previous company for over a year. There, I assisted in the re-implementation of an ERP system, developed strong business processes in various areas, and facilitated leadership training for new managers.Before that, I was a sole proprietor at ADS, a data services company that I founded and ran for nine years. I provided services such as forms design, database analysis and development, business analysis, process analysis and solutions recommendations, records management consultation and implementation, and career counseling and presentation. I was instrumental in developing a records management department for a large client in the gas pipeline industry, using a custom application that I designed and developed, that used a custom proprietary application to track physical records. I also built a strong team of individuals who complemented each other and strived for the betterment of the company. I managed 2 supervisors, 35 administrative staff and 5 warehouse staff, as well as served as the operations and facilities manager. I am passionate about using data and technology to improve organizational performance and efficiency.
