I have 25 years of experience in Education, and 30 plus years of experience in decorating, design, and culinary skills. I began my educational career in third grade Language Arts where I spent seven years. I had the privilege of teaching Gifted/talented grades 1-5, computer grades 3-5, and served as technology director for nine years. I then went back in the classroom and taught 5th grade Reading for two years before going to teach high school theatre for four years, and high school reading for two. Returning to 5th grade reading for another two years, and presently teaching theatre arts at the high school level. As you can see, I have a multitude of experience in education with a variety of certifications. I also have a small business "A Touch of Class" in which I coordinate and design weddings, parties, anniversaries, etc. I do face painting not only in the theatre, but for events throughout the ArkLaTex. I also do small catering for individuals and businesses. I have thirty plus years of experience in the business field with excellent reviews from clients. My ultimate goal is to expand on my business venture and share my love for the arts with clients.
