 Provide care for pre- and post-surgical patients in critically ill conditions in addition to managing chronic illnesses Facilitate communication between patients, families and care team  Collaborate and support a professional practice model of a teaching hospital to achieve high quality patient outcomes Precept and Mentor new oncoming staff and travelers

 Implement compassionate care to critical patients suffering from injuries or debilitating conditions Manage life support equipment along with critical access to closely monitor patient’s condition  Administer life support medications and titrate based on patient condition or changes Advocate for patients and family to problem solve and proactively manage to prevent crises that may occur in critical situations Assist with bedside procedures and monitor patient status during procedures Maintain positive relationship with physicians and other interprofessional team members to collaborate on improving patient care
