After completing her MBA, she proceeded to take on increasing levels of responsibility, covering a wide range of roles within the company. Sheila joined Summit's senior leadership team in 2005. Her areas of responsibility have included Marketing, eCommerce, Master Data Management, Information Technology, Learning & Development and Customer Experience.In her current role, Sheila leads the company’s marketing efforts, which were expanded to include Category Management, Supplier Relations, Digital Presence and Customer Lifecycle.Active in the industry, Sheila spent nine years on the Imark Electrical Marketing Committee, participated on a Futures Group Task Force and was a Board of Directors member from 2018-2024, making her the second female board member in Imark's history. She was one of three Imark Electrical Board Members who joined together with four AD Electrical Board Members on a special committee to provide strategic direction and leadership for the Imark/AD merger. She was one of 14 Inaugural Mentors in the Empowering Women Mentorship Program, participating in every mentoring session since inception. She has served on numerous industry committees and task forces, and has been a panelist for Distribution Strategy Group, Modern Distribution Management, NAED, IDEA and IMARK.
