Prior to my time in Perth, my career was focused on hospitality and tourism, mainly in event management throughout the Asia region. My work experiences have instilled in me excellent organizational, administrative, and effective communication skills.

In 2010 I decided to set up EON Events in Singapore offering value-added tactical,advisory and consultancy services in events management, business services andspecial projects to a worldwide clientele eager to gain access to the largely untappedand undiscovered Southeast Asian region.

Launched and managed one of Asia’s leading travel events, Asia Travel Market 1995 and 1996. As Project Manager, I was responsible for meeting the overall sales budget (both exhibition space and sponsorship opportunities). I managed the entire event, from pre-show planning to on-site logistics and post-show evaluation.

My primary focus at this first resort-hotel on Sentosa Island was selling the hotel’s banquet facilities, services and guest rooms to incentive houses, destination management companies, trade associations and professional conference and exhibition organisers. As a member of the hotel’s pre-opening team from July 1992 to March 1993, I supported the Director of Marketing in setting up key elements of the sales and marketing department.

My executive responsibilities began when I was promoted to account manager for Franco-Asian Travel in 1998. I oversaw the organisation’s entire planning, budgeting and execution of incoming meetings & incentive programmes.
