Help business owners on a strategic level to develop a cultural focus on the mitigation of injury. Work with a variety of clients and industries in the Reno and Tahoe areas with a focus on small to medium size companies. My goal is to help owners reduce their risk as they grow and become more efficient organizations.

Directed activities related to regulatory requirements and EH&S policies. Collaborated across various levels of management and worked within multi-disciplinary teams to continually improve the corporate safety culture. Served as subject matter expert with primary program responsibilities including Illness and Injury Prevention Program, incident investigation , hazard communication, respiratory program, biosafety program including blood borne pathogens, electrical safety program, ergonomics and training.

Evaluates occupational health hazards in light of state and federal regulations and various health agency guidelines. * Develops and implements sampling methodologies to evaluate occupational and environmental contaminants. Monitors and evaluates various agents including asbestos, silica, welding fumes, pesticides, volatile chemicals, particulates, bio-aerosols, noise and non-ionizing radiation.* Conducts historical and quantitative exposure assessments* Works with multidisciplinary teams and communicates technical information to the client.* Recently published an article addressing ultrafine particles at coal-fired power plants

Managed projects involving the analysis of exposure data with respect to regulations, published literature, and agency guidelines. * Analyzed environmental and occupational monitoring data from hazardous waste sites in support of human health risk assessments. Contaminants included heavy metals, chlorinated solvents, polychlorinated biphenyls, dioxins, and phthalates. * Managed litigation cases involving alleged exposures related to the use of asbestos containing products
