Recent activity includes serving as the Director of Strategic Initiatives for The Catholic Urban School Partnership (CUSP) at the Archdiocese of Newark. This project primarily included researching and identifying best practices from high performing urban schools and recommending and supporting the implementation of these findings at inner-city Catholic schools.Other projects included: grant making; prize programs; strategic planning; succession planning and leadership searches.

Brilla College Preparatory Charter School, a K-8 school in the classical tradition, helps students to grow intellectually, socially, and physically into young men and women of good character and spirit, and to be prepared for excellence in high school, college and beyond.

A charitable grant-making foundation that supports education reform, family-strengthening and faith-based programs serving at-risk, urban youth, and which funds both service providing organizations and public policy/research institutions that support these program areas. Hired by the Foundation’s founder in 1999 as the organization’s first full-time employee, I was the primary member of the leadership team guiding the organization through its evolution from being donor-driven to a board-led strategic grant-making foundation after the death of the founder in June 2000.
