Laptop Reconciliation Data Analyst – May 06 to Aug 08Transferred to Nashville facility for reconciling all laptops manufactured abroad and shipped to US facilities. This position was responsible for over $1 billion of inventory annually. Contact for internal and external auditors for review of process controls within this position. Inventory Control Data Analyst – Oct 05 to May 06 Promotion in same department with new responsibilities including more audit roles to insure SOX compliant, prepare metrics presentations and reports for various RAW and WIP functions throughout the facility. Increased levels of project engagement. Developing higher skill sets with co-workers.Inventory Control Data Specialist – Jul 99 to Oct 05Responsible for all aspects of Inventory Control. This includes auditing and revisions to work instructions, performing monthly departmental CSA, auditing database access levels, reports weekly cycle count GL results, root cause analysis for inventory variances, reconciles DAO supplier credits and rework, proficient in all aspects of the RAW and WIP areas, and reviews the ABC classification parts for cycle counts. Train and assist team members in the department and members of new facilities. Completed five Yellow Belt projects, and a team member on two Green Belt projects.

Responsibilities include purchasing component parts and MRO for all boats manufactured in the facility. Participated in the designing and selection of vinyl, carpet, and headliner and was totally responsible for scheduling ordering all upholstery for boats. Position entailed controlling inventory levels based on production forecast. Directly worked with Engineering on new product to insure smooth transition of changes.

Material Control Manager/Buyer Initially employed as Material Control Coordinator serving as the liaison with the purchasing department, warehouse, parts distribution department, engineering and production control to facilitate manufacturing operations. Was promoted to Material Control Manager in 1987. Responsible for maintaining perpetual inventory, bills of material, and all physical inventories. Participated in the opening of a new facility in Tennessee.Promoted to Buyer in 1990 and performed purchasing functions while continuing full responsibilities for managing Inventory Control. Responsible for sourcing material, negotiating contracts for items and costs, procuring parts and expediting orders for a wide range of material. Directly responsible for supervising and training junior buyers.Integral member of the Design Committee for the introduction of boats for the next model year. Involved in evaluating and selecting color schemes, interior accessories, as well as coordinating the procurement of all required materials.
