ABOUT ME:Sheila Rogerson is an award-winning screenwriter and showrunner of both animated and live-action series. In the kids space, she has developed and/or story edited several shows, including WILD MANES, MILLIE MAGNIFICENT, multiple seasons of MIA & CODIE, multiple seasons of MAX & RUBY, Nickelodeon's CORN & PEG, ROB THE ROBOT, Disney's ELLA THE ELEPHANT, CHIRP, and PBS' CAILLOU. Sheila has written for over 75 series, including multiple seasons of PAW PATROL, INTERSTELLAR ELLA, BUILDER BROTHERS DREAM FACTORY, ALMA'S WAY, MIGHTY EXPRESS, BUBBLE'S HOTEL, FLOOGALS, KATE & MIM-MIM, CAT IN THE HAT KNOWS A LOT ABOUT THAT, IMAGINATION MOVERS, NINA'S WORLD, SUPER WHY, and more.Sheila was nominated for an EMMY AWARD in the "Outstanding Writing for a Preschool Animated Program" category, for the PBS series ALMA'S WAY. She has also been nominated for an EMMY AWARD for her work on THE SAVE-UMS, a GEMINI/CSA AWARD for BUSYTOWN MYSTERIES, and has won both an EMA and a GENESIS AWARD for her work on the Disney hit series, HANDY MANNY. Sheila is also Writer/Producer of THE DOGS, a psychological thriller and feature adaptation based on the award winning YA novel. The film won BEST CANADIAN FILM at the Female Eye Film Festival, 2024, and was also nominated for BEST IN SHOW. It was also nominated for BEST INDEPENDENT FILM and won BEST FEMALE DIRECTOR at the Montreal Independent Film Festival. She loves ancient history and archaeology. But mostly, she's a cleverly disguised five-year old... who is currently playing with puppets.
