I have a Degree in Elementary Education, a Masters in Special Education and an Advanced Studies Certification in Educational Leadership Principalship. My leadership philosophy includes leading by example, utilizing integrity and fairness at all times to develop the necessary relationships and environments conducive to learning. This collaboration assists in developing a vision of learning that will help facilitate the instructional needs of each student and teacher. It is my responsibility to demonstrate strong management skills and to be highly organized to contribute to the success of students and staff. I understand and value the importance of having all stakeholders working together to create a school that is moving all children towards the qualities necessary to be a 21st century learner.My leadership skills include daily work in building relationships with all stakeholders, leading building and district professional development, implementing program initiatives, using the triangulation of data to be diagnostic in moving student and teacher learning, participating in behavioral and managerial issues, creating a positive school environment, and working in various ways with all students in general education and special education settings.
