EmPowerYu has created an intelligent Remote Monitoring System that improves healthcare, reduces costs, and improves communication between monitored persons, families and professional caregivers. EmPowerYu operates at the intersection of Big Data, the Internet of Things, and Healthcare. We are a software analytics platform that quantifies data from daily behavior like eating, sleeping, activity, and device usage, and integrates it with patient-generated medical data to produce a dimensional understanding of a high-risk patient at home. We create a statistically bounded personal pattern so we can describe 'normal', do trend analyses, examine correlations, and detect anomalies for presentation to caregivers on a simple graphic user interface. Detecting problems before they escalate improves patient care, reduces healthcare provider costs, and provides patients and families with peace of mind.
