Sheila a member of the Professional Advisors Committee, and is past co-chair of the Professional Advisors Network, at The Boston Foundation. Sheila is a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion task force at the Boston Estate Planning Council. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, Sheila earned a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy (MALD) from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, concentrating on international business and international trade policy. Prior to that, Sheila worked at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. in the credit risk management department. She managed credit risks across the firm’s derivatives transactions portfolio, including those for high net worth clients. Sheila graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with a B.A. in Economics. Sheila is a member of the Boston Board of Directors of Thrive Scholars, a national education nonprofit that provides high-achieving, low-income students of color with the opportunities they need to thrive at top colleges and in meaningful careers. Sheila is also particularly passionate about environmental conservation and sustainable agriculture, and serves on the Board of Lexington Community Farm Coalition. She and her husband, Jason, have two young children and live in Lexington, MA.
