Lover of ideas and conversations about them. Faculty researcher and subject matter expert in experimental psychology, corrections, and criminal justice. My past research and publications have primarily focused on correctional studies, specifically in the assessment, management, and reduction of risk for recidivism in justice-involved persons (aka What works!). I find the organizational aspect of meta-analysis to be very satisfying, which is why I have conducted several in the past with valuable impact in the field. Equally, I appreciate the design and implementation of program evaluation for human service programs. As such, I am open to opportunities to gain more experience in these research applications. Finally, I value balance in my life. I am grateful to have learned early on that life can change at a moment’s notice, so I enjoy my non-work life to the fullest. Most importantly, I protect time with family. I also prioritize my passions for knitting, reading, cooking, and conversations about ideas with wisely chosen friends and colleagues.
