I am an experienced Marketing Consultant with more than 25 years experience in both global and local corporations. My FMCG experience includes Marketing and Sales roles in Irish Distillers (Pernod Ricard), Masterfoods and Nestlé. Having gained experience in Strategic and Category Marketing in Nestlé, I was selected to work with a core team to implement a change programme over a 12 month period. Between 2003 and 2006, I worked as a Management Consultant with a number of companies including previous employers Irish Distillers and Nestlé. I also worked with a number of small indigenous companies in this period.In 2006, I joined Márla Communications (Graphic Design Agency) as Marketing Director; over a 2 year period, I expanded the services offered by the agency to include Strategic Marketing, On-line Communication and end-to-end Client Management. Over 2006-2008, the business doubled, and I bought out existing Shareholders in 2008.Márla Communications continues to thrive; the agency now services a national base of over 200 companies spanning diverse business and industry sectors. A significant development within the business in the last 5 years has been our journey from traditional only to digital marketing. Digital marketing rests at the core of every project - we say it simply to clients 'if you are not communicating effectively on digital, you are not communicating'.
