Sheila was a Youth Engagement Specialist on a USAID-funded USD 38.5 million program, ERAT (Tata Kelola Pemerintahan yang Efektif, Efisien, dan Kuat) or Strong, Efficient, Effective Governance. Shifted from a communication officer, in her current position she is managing subcontractors to implement ideathon competitions targeting youth in cooperation with the national minsitry and other related stakeholders. Moreover, she is also responsible to mainstream youth engagement in the program strategies and activities and promoting for meaningful youth participation approach on governance issues, especially related to complaint-handling mechanisms, anti-corruption, bureaucratic reform, and public services improvement.

Sheila was a Communication Officer with responsibilities to develop communication strategy for USAID ERAT (Tata Kelola Pemerintahan yang Efektif, Efisien, dan Kuat). Other than that, she works with youth communities, Generasi Pandu Inklusi Nusantara (PINTAR). Generasi PINTAR is a catalyst of the social inclusion movement that implement Muda, Berani, Inklusif, dan Setara (MERAKIT) program with the support from The Asia Foundation - Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion unit. Joined the organization in 2018, she also was a Communication Officer for Program Peduli, a DFAT-funded program that focused on eradicating poverty through social inclusion approach. As a Communication Officer, she was responsible for managing the project's communication channels and supervised a communication agency. One of the project's strategy was on social acceptance for vulnerable and marginalized communities. She optimized the communication to contribute to the project's achievement through focusing on the creative campaign for social and behaviour change and digital marketing. she was also responsible for outreach to influencers and Key Opinion Leaders as potential collaborators to expand social inclusion movement; develops and maintains relations with journalists. Furthermore, the implementation of the communication strategy also includes capacity building for civil society organization partners. She also contributed to the project's reports and deliverables.

Sheila was a Communication, Outreach, and Knowledge Management Specialist for USAID's Climate Change Adaptation and Resilience Program. Worked in three provinces across Indonesia in East Java; Maluku; and Southeast Sulawesi. She developed the project's communication strategy; responsible for the whole implementation of communication strategy. She contributed to donor's report writing and responsible for project's branding; media relations and advocacy; and improvement of local staffs capacity on communication. Moreover, she also assisted the project's Chief of Party and Deputy Chief of Party on press-related events, including site visits along with the local government, donor representatives, and journalists. Supported by a Communication, Outreach, and Knowledge Management Assistant, she also managed the project's communication channels such as website and social media accounts.

On the final phase of project implementation, Sheila supported the closing-out processes and ensured that lessons learned; publications; and legacy of the program can be accessed even after the program ended. She also supported the production of the project's final report; coordinated with a graphic vendor to ensure the visual aspect of the reports is in good quality.

Sheila was a communication assistant for Program Representasi project focused on democracy and governance. The project worked with research institutions, parliamentary, and civil society organizations on education, health, and environment issues. As a communication assistant, she supported the implementation of the communication strategy. Amongst many others, she improved and ensured the quality of publications produced by partners; improved capacity of partners on basic photography, writing, and social media management for the organization. She also supported the production and publishing of quarterly newsletter; database management; and media relations.

As a communication officer for Telapak, an environmental organization, Sheila was responsible for website management and supported to ensure that publications produced by the organization met the standard. Moreover, as one of the focuses of the organization was on exposing illegal logging cases, forest encroachment, and indigenous communities, Sheila played a significant role on media relations as an advocacy strategy, ensuring reports and investigation results covered by the mass media, including the international news outlet.

Sheila was a production assistant for production of advertising filler for Djarum Super Adventurace offair event. It was broadcasted on one of a national television channel. As a production assistant, Sheila ensured the pre-production processes went well. She managed the production equipment rental; supported the talent casting processes and recruitment of outsourcing staffs. Moreover, Sheila also coordinated and liaised with the event organizer; ensured the well-being of the whole crews; supported the producer on scheduling and shooting activities. She was also responsible in the post-production processes to ensure the fillers were ready to be broadcasted on the television.
