Stories shape our world. For three decades, I’ve worked with nonprofit, corporate, and public sector clients to capture the human story driving their social change work. My work as a storyteller is informed by my training as a journalist and passion for telling stories of positive change. We live at a time of radical transformation. A well-honed narrative—and narrative strategy— communicates values and meaning and offers a compelling vision of the future. Among the heroes in my stories are students, chefs, farmers, technologists, and leading-edge scientists. I show how their insights and innovations are helping to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable future. My work as a storyteller has taken me to nearly fifty countries on four continents. I am co-producer of the award-winning documentary, Cafeteria Man, and author of four nonfiction children's books celebrating our world as a shared home. ****Skills: Strategic communications, social impact storytelling, video production/scriptwriting, feature writing/editing, ghost-writing, audience outreach/engagement, curriculum development, fundraising.Issues: Social entrepreneurship, positive youth development, social-emotional learning, civic engagement/leadership, rural poverty, health and wellbeing, food activism
