Serve as a mentor to students interested in a career in Computer Science by introducing major components of software design in an agile environment; Instruct students on ways to implement logic gates and algorithms when designing major systems; Serve as a project manager overseeing several different projects in areas such video game development using Java with LibGDX or C# with Unity, Mobile Application development with Android Studio, and a range of Digital Electronics projects; Continually research new techniques for software development so as to teach relevant and current applications.

Develop and implement teaching strategies to meet the social, academic, and intellectual needs of the students; Evaluate efforts and work submitted by students for grading; Create, organize, and update daily lesson plans that not only meet the grade-level curriculum but exceed the minimum objectives required; Maintain professional relationships with parents regarding student progress; Learn alternate methods of teaching using various trainings; Translate material for students from English to Spanish in order to ensure student success; Effectively supervise, discipline, and redirect the energy of a large group of hyperactive preteens; Work overtime hours on the weekends to provide extra instruction for struggling students; Successfully work in a team environment providing and absorbing new ideas for successful classroom implementation.Achievements: In the short amount of time I have been at Harmony School of Innovation I have been asked by the Testing Administrator to teach the middle school GT mathematics class, something uncommon for a first time teacher. I also wrote and produced a mathematics play for HSI’s first annual Science-Technology-Engineering-Math fair as well as advised my students on a presentation about the algorithms used in solving a Rubik’s Cube. I also created an after school club for the purpose of providing an environment for the students to establish positive relationships with one another and continued involvement in their educational experience
