I was raised by farm parents. We raised hogs and chickens, corn, wheat, and soybeans. My dad loved working for himself. My mother worked cleaning homes for others to earn a little extra money. I'm the only surviving child of my three siblings.I learned to drive farm machinery long before I could legally drive a car. My parents worked hard and taught me that work was what would get me through all those growing up years and beyond..I graduated high school, went to college and studied English education, taught high school English for two years. I thoroughly enjoyed working with the high school students.After marrying, I had two sons, raised them. During my marriage I learned to fly. At first I flew for fun and then started to have interest in teaching others to fly. After teaching for a short time, I was given the opportunity to fly for hire. Successfully flew as a commercial corporate pilot for 20+ years.During those years I learned that teamwork and communication were the two things that proved essential to my success. As a team leader, I successfully helped my co-workers work together toward our goal of a successful trip for each flight we took.Today, teamwork still brings success and communicating with every person I interact with assures me to have a successful day.
