About Sheila Murphy Mcieem

I am an independent ecological consultant with over 11 years’ experience in the field of ecology and consultancy. I have experience in conducting ecological surveys and reporting for development projects including Screening for Appropriate Assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments, Option Selection and Constraint Reports.I am highly proficient in non-volant mammal surveys including both badger sett monitoring and otter surveying, along with a high level of bat surveying and monitoring experience. I have extensive experience in habitat surveying and mapping using both QGIS and MapInfo. I am an experienced Ecological Clerk of Works having supervised numerous large-scale projects such as roads developments, flood relief schemes and greenways, during their construction phase. I have strong communication skills developed through my role as Landowner Liaison Officer for various linear development projects.
