I stepped into the interim principal in 2018. Here, I provided instructional leadership to staff, collaborated with regional principals, administrators and others to determine instructional needs and implemented strategic plans for improvement. I also mentored instructional coaches to support the performance of our core staff members.

After relocating with family to Memphis, I stepped into a hybrid role teaching, chairing the school’s Humanities department and serving as an instructional coach for Humanities teachers. A key highlight of this job was development and implementation of Common Core-aligned ELA curriculum and curriculum for a school literacy initiative.
