• Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate students on different mathematical and economics courses, viz.: Microeconomics (Principles, Intermediate and Advanced), Macroeconomics (Principles, Intermediate and Advanced), Fundamentals of Mathematics, Political Economic Analysis, Project Planning and Evaluation, Industrial Organization and Public Policy, etc.• Prepare course materials including course outline, lesson plan, handouts, lecture slides, etc.• Evaluate and grade students' class works, assignments and exam papers.• Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records in the university management system(ums) portal developed by the Integrated Software team of the university.• Regularly maintain scheduled 40 hours office per week in order to advise and assist students, attend meetings and other official tasks.• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students in internship, and research work.• Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction as a member of the curriculum committee of the department at the beginning of each semester.• Prepared the Outcome-Based education curricula, mapping course learning outcomes with program learning outcomes of BSS(Hons) in economics and Master of Development Studies program running in the department meeting the criteria of University Grants Commission (UGC) Bangladesh. • Conduct research in different fields of economics and social sciences, and publish the findings in peer-reviewed journals regularly.• Write grant proposals to procure external research funding.• Participate and present research papers in national and international seminars

• Coordinate with faculties and professionals to facilitate different professional development workshops.• Organize minimum 3 co-curricular and extra-curricular activities in each semester for better academic progress and development of social skills of the students.• Collaborate with professional bodies such as banks and NGOs to assist students with their job placements

• Support semester-long departmental processes related to course offering, course advising, student registration, preparing class and exam schedules, waiver distribution, etc.• Serve on academic and administrative committees that deal with institutional policies, departmental matters, and academic issues.• Created and maintain a dynamic departmental facebook page with upto-date contents as part of the promotional activities of the university.• Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching and research issues.• Assist with data entry updates in the alumni database and perform data cleanup projects to maintain accurate records and to enhance alumni engagement scopes.• Generate semester-end reports using student information system to help develop successful strategic plans for the upcoming semester.• Serve as member or member secretary of different central committees of the university such as orientation committee, sub-committee for volunteer management for organizing convocation, women grievance redressal cell, etc.• Monitor classroom teaching and provide timely reporting, allowing management better understanding of effective teaching on student performance.
