I have involved in the development of a novel non-invasive concentric ring probe for oral tissue biopsy. Many oral diseases such as oral leukoplakia, erythroplakia, oral candidiasis, and oral cancer cause abnormal structural changes in the oral mucosa. In clinical practice, these changes are usually assessed by visual inspection and palpation in spite of their poor accuracy and subjective nature. On the other hand, diagnosis of potentially malignant lesions currently relies on surgically removed biopsies. This invasive procedure causes pain and discomfort for the patient. Thus, this development methods for diagnosing various oral diseases by means of non-invasive and painless oral mucosal measurements using Bioimpedance spectroscopy is highly beneficial in the field of Medical diagnostic study. I have got very important results that may generate an international journal article and the manuscript will be ready in August 2018.
