CAREER TO DATEPrior to becoming part of the Student Services Information and Guidance Team at Edinburgh College, I worked as a freelance coach and trainer for three years with my own practice. My background was in human resources, recruitment and training mainly for large third sector organisations. Achievements include:- Taking a company through the IiP process- Co-ordinating large recruitment campaigns for Third Sector and NHS clients- Creating and implementing induction and management training programmes- Dealing with complex employee relations issues - Writing a wide range of HR policies, including Equalities and Diversity- Recruiting, training and co-ordinating volunteer call takers for a crisis helpline- Working with scores of individuals to set and achieve personal and career goals - Creating and delivering personal development training courses for organisations around the UK
