I was a student teacher for Texas A&M at Briarmeadow Charter School. I assisted and taught 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts.

I am hands on everyday in a variety of classrooms and grade levels. I have spent majority of my time in dual language, social studies and language arts classrooms.

I am a recent graduate from Texas A&M with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies 4-8 Social Studies/ Language Arts. I was very involved on campus. I was a member of Alpha Chi Omega and an executive officer for Collaborative Aggies Leadership Initiative (CALI).My volunteer experience is very diverse. I volunteer at Phoebe’s Home, the local domestic violence shelter for my sorority. I also help spread awareness for National Eating Disorder Association, NEDA for CALI. For my major I get the opportunity to volunteer in a wide variety of schools, including elementary, junior high and dual language centers. I have also dedicated my time at the Houston Food Bank, numerous dance programs and learning centers. Throughout my time at Texas A&M my love for teaching and children has only increased.

I am currently substituting for CSISD. I have an ample amount of experience in junior high and high school in all content areas.
