In 2010 a partner and I built out a SaaS product that was centered around a blog network that we created. The business model was that local marketing consultants would get marketing contracts for local brick & mortar businesses and that work would be fulfilled through us. That fulfillment was done through our SaaS product. We went to market in late 2010 and closed in late 2013 after the Google algorithms changed and made our service less effective.
