-Independently manages all clinical data abstraction and submission to CMS (Medicare) to receive financial reimbursement for patient services.-Collaborates with other departments to coordinate accurate and timely completion of all QI documentation.-Monitors and analyzes core quality metrics, including patient satisfaction scores, functional outcomes, Medicare data completion, Case Mix Index; Presents findings to hospital leadership.-Assesses quality and accuracy of clinical documentation and provides ongoing mentorship, education, and training to frontline and senior-level staff.-Conducts internal facility audits to monitor compliance with regulatory bodies (CMS, Joint Commission, Va Department of Health) and hospital policies to and prepares report on findings.

Primary responsibilities include therapist credentialing and preparing patient medical records for release under HIPAA guidelines and regulations. In addition, I gather and present company statistics for weekly directors meetings. As compliance coordinator, I audited patient claims by compiling and analyzing internal and external information; provided administrative support by implementing systems, procedures, and policies; completed projects in support of compliance auditors; helped others by answering questions and responding to requests.

Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, I instruct, motivate and assist patients through their specific workout/treatment programs. In addition, I secure patients into or onto therapy equipment, including cervical and lumbar traction, electrical muscle stimulation and ultrasound.
