I have a passion for helping others and strive to be the best I can in my career! I am going into my third year as a registered diagnostic medical Sonographer at the esteemed Nebraska Medicine where I have grown my skills tremendously. I have experience with some of the most difficult types of exams seen in general ultrasound such as transplanted organ cases. I know my line of work is often the first step in diagnosing patients with diseases, organ failure, or even finding cancer and I feel extremely fulfilled knowing I am making a difference in my patients’ lives. I love the interactions I get to have with each of my patients and this is where my compassion and communication skills shine. Being apart of a teaching hospital has also given me the opportunity to grow my skills in being an educator and has proven to be something I am quite fond of. I enjoy helping students in their pursuit of growing their knowledge of ultrasound! There is so much more to ultrasound than just scanning and taking images and I hope to discover even more aspects of this wonderful field as I continue my career!
