A skilled pediatric intensive care nurse with proficiency in ventilator management and caring for patients with central lines, EVDs, patients on CRRT, children in DKA, and managing multiple drips and medications. Experienced as a resource in my unit and throughout my hospital as a member of the trauma/code team. During the COVID-19 pandemic, served as a hospital-wide resource for COVID related issues A driven leader with experience as a relief house supervisor to a 334 bed children’s hospital, relief charge nurse to a busy 18 bed PICU with oversight of step down units, and preceptor to new graduate RNs, new hires, and travel nurses. In 2022 I delivered a podium presentation at AACN’s National Teaching Institute on my work as a COVID-19 resource nurse and the impact it had on our hospital and staff.
