I am a young professional building my career as a Project Engineer at Janicki Industries. I graduated from both the University of Washington where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics and FlatIron School where I completed Software Engineering bootcamp. I have a huge passion for all things aviation and space. While at UW, I held leadership roles in engineering projects and in the UW Chapter of AIAA. I was also a member of their D1 Women's Rowing Team and on the board of their IHSA Equestrian Team.My previous work experience is quite varied, allowing me to approach new roles and challenges with a flexible mindset and confidence. Summers spent as a counselor and in leadership positions at the nation's premier summer camps taught me discipline and the ability to ensure the success and safety of others. Making food at ShakeShack allowed me to work with a diverse team in a high paced environment. Operating as a rental ski tech showed the importance of connecting and communicating with customers, and wrenching on high end mountain bikes as a bike mechanic taught me to take pride in my work.I am constantly seeking new experiences and opportunities to live outside my comfort zone. During my undergrad, I took flight lessons at KBFL and KBVS before completing my PPL at KSDL, navigating very busy airports and frequently flying through KPHX's Class Bravo airspace. I also enjoy the outdoors and compete regularly in trail ultra marathons and cross country mountain bike races. I find our oceans extremely fascinating and have traveled the world to some of the best dive spots, from the Great Barrier Reef in Australia to diving with sharks in Fiji, completing my PADI Rescue Certifications in the process. A new passion I have recently found is traveling to remote places via bike: I completed the Baja Divide (Mexico) in the winter of 2022, the Tour Aotearoa (New Zealand) at the beginning of 2023, and the North South Colorado bikepacking race in July 2023. Personal projects include rebuilding the engine of an old mustang, converting a truck to be a small camper, and trying to keep my 27 year old Jeep Cherokee running!

TravelCareer Break Nov 2022 - Jan 2023After completing my software engineering course at Flatiron School, I traveled to New Zealand to cycle the Tour Aotearoa, a 2000 mile route from Cape Reinga at the top of the North Island to Stirling Point at the bottom of the South Island. This was my first solo bikepacking trip and it provided an incredible opportunity to grow greater self reliance and confidence.
