She is dedicated to providing trauma informed care and relationally based interventions and understands the importance and power of building and maintaining relationships. Shelby regularly engages in development of her knowledge and skill set in the mental health field by reading, researching and attending conferences and seminars. Shelby is an avid learner and creative thinker, using her talents to enhance the clinical component of treatment and learning programs. The design and implementation of a sensory room, as well as an outdoor labyrinth are two of Shelby's proudest professional accomplishments.
