Responsibilities include:• Responsible to manage childcare operations smoothly and efficiently through visible management presence and leadership• Ensure children’s safety through continuous monitoring of safety and performance standards, service provider ratios, childcare facilities, equipment and operational systems; ensure constant interaction with children in our care• Responsibility for childcare and programming operations including customer service, communication, marketing, purchasing and budgeting• Manage the financial performance of the department through achievement of sales and revenue targets, expense management, proper planning and forecasting, and retention• Develop, organize, implement and promote program, camp and birthday parties• Responsible for maximizing utilization of services, and achieving or exceeding revenue goals• Develop and introduce new services and programs on an ongoing basis• Track member usage in all Childcare areas and execute retention and revenue-generating programs within the department.• Adherence to and enforcement of all health and safety standards; ensure Associates adhere to human resource and work safety practices• Recruit, hire and train department staff; provide coaching and development; provide timely performance evaluations; build relationships• Monitor uniform adherence of all childcare and program staff• Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate• Active participation in events, programs, meetings and training• Represent the childcare department and club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow-through and response
