I am deeply passionate about everything I engage in, and my commitment to giving back and assisting others is a driving force behind my involvement in various activities. During my time in Youngstown, Ohio, I actively participated in community outreach through food and clothing drives, voter registrations, camps/seminars focused on community improvement, marches, and extensive public speaking engagements. Notably, I had the unique opportunity to interview a Holocaust survivor in school due to my outstanding grades and strong rapport with teachers.I approach every endeavor with the sincere desire to witness its success, and one such venture is the Film Club, where I hold the position of vice-president. In this role, I collaborate with the president to delegate tasks for upcoming film events and oversee club operations in their absence. My involvement extends beyond administrative duties; I have contributed to various film sets, taking on roles ranging from set PA to extras work and even 1st AD. The collective effort of our dedicated team has led to significant achievements, with our success trajectory only gaining momentum each semester. The skills honed in the Film Club have not only enriched my videography capabilities but have also enhanced my networking prowess. I had the privilege of interviewing new student businesses at the Strome Business Expo, establishing connections with notable individuals such as the founder of the New Era Soccer Institute and creating a Snapchat promo for Pizza Fusion. These experiences paved the way for my role as a social media ambassador for Old Dominion University, where I contribute to organizing events like the Mannequin Challenge with the cast of Wild 'N Out.Prior to my role as the Promotions Director for WODU, I hosted my own radio show at the studio, earning the Host of the Year Award in April 2017. My journey reflects a commitment to excellence and a passion for making meaningful contributions to the communities and organizations I am a part of.
