At Righteous Threads my job involves ensuring that product development has continual flow and is time efficient by communicating with our operators. I also have the responsibility of communicating with our clients to ensure that their needs are met as well as managing billing.

As the cafe worker at Emmaus I serve and prepare concessions during athletic events. This experience showed me how valuable good customer service is and how to better engage with people in this environment.

I've had a variety of responsibilities during this occupation, including, cleaning floors, doing dishes, hosting, and prepping the salad bar. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn a variety of skills, for instance, preparing food, customer service, and how to work efficiently in a professional kitchen.

While on Housekeeping staff my responsibilities were cleaning stairwells and classrooms ensuring that they are presentable for the school. This experience required a good work ethic as well as the importance of doing a job well and being thorough.

This job involves building communication and interest with prospective students for the college and informing them of what opportunities and scholarships they are eligible for. This job has given me the opportunity to practice resolving confrontation, communication, and other people skills, as well as how to respond to a variety of scenarios.

Student Government is an organization that purposes to serve and bring the student body together through organizing and facilitating a variety of events for their enjoyment. As Secretary my responsibilities included taking the minutes for meetings, assigning tasks, advertising for events, as well as, organizing and facilitating events for the student body. This experience greatly improved my ability to lead, problem solve and work well with a diverse team.

I completed a youth ministry internship at Shannon Hills Bible Chapel, (HSBC). During my internship I was given a variety of responsibilities including running and teaching the summer kids club (ages 4-12). I also was a Sunday school teacher for the high-school girls and built relationships with them and mentored them throughout the summer, as well as be a counselor for week of camp. In the same way, I was the games director for SHBC Vacation Bible School. Throughout my internship I had regular meetings with my supervisor and mentor. This experience was a great opportunity to gain practical experience working in ministry, I was able learn administration skills, practice discipleship, plan and teach lessons, and learn how to work with children of all ages.

While serving at MTYC I was given numerous responsibilities including serving meals, washing dishes, working in the snack shop, maintenance, pool cleaning, and being a facilitator in the Outdoor Adventure Program, (OAP). OAP serves to teach campers life lessons, the Gospel, and teamwork through high and low ropes courses. As a facilitator I would lead campers in these activities encouraging them to step out of their comfort zone while simultaneously ensuring their safety. Through my time at MTYC I obtained valuable lessons and skills such as, how to facilitate ropes courses, leading large and small groups, the value of a good work ethic, and working with a team of people.
