Designed and implemented a district-wide voter engagement plan that knocked on over 12,000 doors for Democratic State Senate candidate Manka Dhingra and city council candidates in Burien, Sammamish, Tukwila and Seattle. Planned and executed trainings, rallies and days of action including training of 65+ current and future intersectional candidates. Recruited and trained team of 35+ interns to execute summer organizing program. Managed all endorsement requests and served as campaign surrogate at political events.

Oversaw the coordination of statewide field, political, communications and voter-protection strategies to successfully Get Out The Vote for Washington Democrats. Thoroughly briefed allied campaigns and unions on GOTV plan increasing buy-in and coordination and helping to raise support for a $2 million program. Supervised team of 28 Field Organizers, 5 Regional Field Directors and 4 Regional GOTV Directors; 510,000 doors knocked and 976,000 phone calls placed to Washington Democrats. Administered innovative peer-to-peer text program; 72.5% of those who engaged in our text conversations voted in 2016. Coordinated schedule for statewide candidate tour crafting daily event memos for elected officials and staff.

Executed largest voter contact effort of the campaign; 4,700 volunteer captains trained, 750,000 doors knocked and 6.4 million phone calls placed into California. Designed and edited campaign scripts and training materials to properly reflect diverse local constituency.

Designed and implemented statewide program resulting in a 12-point victory margin for Sen. Sanders. Managed 9-person team to organize effective caucus and voter-contact teams in all 23 counties; 10,749 doors knocked and 222,094 phone calls placed into a state with a population of only 584,000. Established network of volunteer leaders across the state to continue organizing delegate efforts at state and national conventions.

Designed and implemented statewide program to turn out 26,450 caucus participants for the state's largest-ever Democratic primary and 36-point victory margin. Coordinated political meetings with Sen. Sanders and served as press liaison to communicate campaign message. Created and executed budget of $150,000, maximizing campaign dollars to prioritize a winning direct-voter-contact program. Managed and oversaw operational needs and payroll for 28 staff members and 3 offices. Assisted in design and messaging of targeted direct mail pieces specific to Kansas.

Helped design statewide fellowship program that hired and trained over 100 campaign fellows, doubling field staff in two weeks. Overcame a 61-point deficit to finish the Iowa Caucus within 0.2 percentage point of our opponent. Piloted one of the first nationwide peer-to-peer text-engagement programs.

Recruited and built teams of environmental voters and volunteers to support U.S. Senate campaigns, circulate petitions, hold press conferences and build community around environmental action. Managed and trained interns who helped design and execute campus outreach programs at Drake and Michigan State universities. Mobilized LCV’s membership base in Minnesota to help re-elect U.S. Sen. Al Franken by a 10.3-point margin.

Mobilized volunteers in nation-wide effort to build support for the EPA’s Clean Power Plan through the collection of public comment cards, submission of letters to decision makers and opinion media. Organized over 10,000 volunteer recruitment calls and collected over 2,400 comment cards helping meet a regional goal of 9,000 comment cards. Engaged Michigan State University students in a major grassroots organizing effort.

Assisted in the organization of a nation-wide campaign to develop gender equality and female empowerment in South Africa. Designed a repository of key documents and an online platform for mobilizing and updating members. Monitored and reported on key legislation pertinent to the Women’s Sector and ongoing projects.

Raised awareness through community outreach and social media on major issues of environmental degradation and human rights abuse. Generated international attention through petitions, phone banks and earned media to successfully convince palm oil trader, Wilmar International, to end its policy of deforestation.
