The most important aspect of my position is the upholding and instilling the brand my chapter (Beta Pi) has established to build loyalty and value to my sorority. A brand creates a strong image and presence which is very crucial to its successAs a high executive position, I controlled the operations of philanthropy, apparel design, social media, and alumni relations. I demonstrated and delegated the responsibilities of each sector of my department through strong leadership and communication skills. Partaking in all marketing activities gives me the opportunity to practice my natural eye for aesthetics and effective marketing tactics that I am learning in school and through my experience with other clubs I am involved with on campus.

Recreated the face of our chapter’s Tumblr and Instagram using color schemes and themes. Collaborated with different departments to encompass our chapter as one, consistent brand and image.Currently as the VP position, I worked very closely with the Social Media team. Social Media has become one and the same as brand image so it is imperative that there is consistency throughout every platform we work with which include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

Planned philanthropy event for 400 guests to fundraise for the Alpha Phi Foundation to benefit women’s heart health with a team of other sorority members and chapter advisors. The event included silent and live auctions, speaker, and a three-course dinner at the Sheraton Grand Los Angeles in DTLA.During the two years of being involved in the marketing department, we raised over $100,000 for our charity.
