Facilitate mobile meal-packing events throughout the US. Includes determining the best layout for setting up the event at each unique facility, welcoming volunteers with orientation teaching them about the organization and how to pack meals, making sure volunteers are having the best experience, running MarketPlace by selling merchandise from countries we serve, cleaning up, sharing the mission of the organization in front of the group of volunteers, and instructing and leading volunteers to successfully pack as many meals as possible. In addition to setting up the facility for the event, we unload trucks with forklifts, move up to one-ton bags of rice using pallet jacks, and unload up to 50 pound boxes of vitamins for the event. Also responsible for fundraising for the organization which requires professional and personable people skills.
