I am an aspiring videographer and photographer with the goal of working alongside artists and musicians to create music videos, photo shoots, album artwork, and more. Currently, I am dual-majoring at Marshall University in Video Production and English, with minors in Spanish, Criminal Justice, and Political Science. I have spent years practicing with many programs to create video edits for things such as school projects and simple lyric videos. I have also used programs like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to assist in making promotional material for local shows; one of my first achievements in using this program was in 2020, in which I created multiple poster designs for a performance at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland, KY. Since 2021, I have worked alongside local bands (primarily in the Lawrence County area) to video and photograph shows and performances. I have also edited and assisted in the production of multiple album artwork covers for these artists. I hope to build more connections with the talented local artists near me, and to form foundations with them to help one another promote each other's work and art!Recently, I made a poster for a local show with several bands and am currently in the process of making another for a show in January. I was a hired photographer and videographer at this show as well, and I am also in the process of editing several videos for one of the bands to use as promotional material and content for their social media. I am very excited to be a part of all these different processes, especially since I get to include my love for music and art within all parts of my career. I also recently received a nomination for a screenplay I wrote in my university screenwriting class for a Maier Writing Award at Marshall University, and I plan to submit this screenplay and others to multiple screenwriting competitions. I am very excited for upcoming classes where I get to learn new concepts like audio production and lighting techniques that will help to really perfect my work!I have always enjoyed and appreciated music and the talent artists have to offer, so it is exciting to be able to combine this appreciation with my dream career. I would love to work with more local artists and talent, whether it be to video, photograph, edit, or even to make graphics, posters, and album art. Getting to work with all of these amazing artists and learn from other artists involved in the music scene has been so much fun and so rewarding. I love what I do so much!
