It was my honor to dedicate approximately 220 hours to the Cardiovascular Wellness Program.My Capstone Project included the creation of a psychological and social support assessment tool for older adults with cardiovascular disease, referred to as Operation Strong Heart. Implemented Operation Strong Heart: Part II, which is an individual assessment tool for older adults to examine their social and psychological health and understand the relationship of one’s mental health and social support to their own cardiovascular and overall health, and provides a structure for individual holistic health plans, resources, and guidance in a cardiovascular rehabilitation program for older adults who have, or are at risk of, cardiovascular disease. Provided vegan and vegetarian recipe creation and food demonstrations Led mindfulness activities including gratitude awareness and art projects Actively participated in community events and outreach Efficiently fundraised and managed donations from donors throughout the community

 Provided dementia care to day program participants, including activities of daily living assistance, nutrition, medication distribution, monitoring and updating personal care plans, and overall safety Floor Leader: initiated enjoyable activities for senior participants to engage in conversation, interaction, and cognitive stimulation.
