With a unique combination of hands-on experience as an Organ Care Specialist at TransMedics and a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Nurse, I bring a deep understanding of advanced medical devices, complex surgical workflows, and patient-centered care. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey that has fueled my passion for transplantation and the impact it has on patients and families.At TransMedics, I play a critical role in operating and managing the Organ Care System (OCS) for organ transplantation. This role has honed my ability to educate multidisciplinary teams, troubleshoot advanced medical technologies in real-time, and ensure seamless integration of devices into high-stakes clinical settings. Prior to this, my work as a Pediatric Cardiac ICU Nurse demanded excellence in patient management, collaboration with surgical teams, and the use of cutting-edge life-support technologies such as ECMO and ventricular assist devices. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the value of medical technology in improving patient outcomes.
