I joined the team at Cinegration to analyze and optimize business practices and processes, focusing on marketing strategy and overall growth. While streamlining marketing and customizing messaging for Cinegration and it's two subsidiary companies, I have also continually assessed the three companies' operations and identified ways to enhance the customers' experience as well as optimize employee efforts. In recent months, I discovered a need for human resources to support the company's growing workforce. I wrote, updated, and legalized company contracts, policies, and procedures and created several systems and processes for employees to follow, creating clearer communication channels and setting expectations for work performance. I implemented standard employee reviews and broadened employee benefit options to include supplemental insurance. I continue to work to grow the company, team, and work environment at Cinegration, Cinegration Development, and DriverCentral with the goal of increasing profit margins and creating a better, more efficient work environment for employees.

I worked for the Downtown Denver Partnership on a variety of special projects:Ambassadors Program - In addition to managing 80+ venues and liaising between locations, track chairs, and speakers for Denver Startup Week, I planned and coordinated the Ambassadors Program. I was responsible for all aspects of the Program's inaugural year. I managed all logistics and organized the Program's content, schedule, participants, and sponsorship. I also identified resources and teams required for the Program's development. I was in charge of generating the Program's informational and contractual content and coordinating outreach with the Marketing and Communications team. I managed the Program's budget and worked with internal Finance and Accounting teams post-Program to finalize all invoices and receipts for the Program. I generated surveys to obtain feedback from Ambassadors and Sponsors to identify ways to improve the Program for future years. Brand Integration - After the successful first year of the Ambassadors Program and a record-breaking Denver Startup Week, I managed the integration of the Partnership's comprehensive rebranding. I coordinated with internal teams and across departments to identify how and where the company utilized the existing brand internally as well as externally. I identified additional ways to present the company's brand and increase exposure. I collected bids from multiple vendors for several branded products and presented options to the Vice President of Special Projects to obtain necessary approvals.Downtown Denver Rink - I accepted a position as the Event Manager for the Downtown Denver Rink, overseeing daily operations and managing staff of 25-30 employees. I worked closely with the Marketing department to identify and create exciting new features and designed partnership levels to generate monetary and experiential donations to support the budget. I secured a season-long contract with a local yoga studio to bring SNOWGA to the Rink.

While completing my MBA, I accepted an internship position with the Downtown Denver Partnership to work on a variety of projects, which included developing and implementing a stakeholder outreach strategy. I focused on identifying, gathering, and consolidating all of the Partnership's stakeholder groups into a useful, actionable outreach plan. The project involved liaising and coordinating across multiple teams to better understand how and when each department interacted with stakeholders. I also assisted in several planning and organizational aspects of Denver Startup Week and attended Organizing Committee meetings. I collected and managed information for DSW's 60+ sponsors to ensure accuracy on website, printed, and digital materials. I developed sponsorship packets and informational deliverables and created outreach content for Denver Startup Week sponsors, speakers, and participants. I reported directly to the Vice President of Special Projects throughout my internship and assisted in additional projects as needed.

Prior to my MBA, I started my own photography company. Creating and running a small business gave me valuable experience in developing a business plan, defining ideal operations and processes, implementing a marketing strategy, and handling finances. Operating the company allowed me to pursue my professional interests and develop my business insight. After relocating to Colorado, I closed the business in order to focus on the next stage of my career.

After completing my undergraduate degree, I accepted a position with an established photography company specializing in commercial and lifestyle photography. In addition to being a photographer for the company, I was hired as a studio manager to run the business and improve operations. After spending six months learning the company and understanding existing methods, I created new business practices to optimize studio efficiency and effectiveness and began to implement updated production processes. I introduced new marketing ideas and strategies to promote the company and identified target markets to increase the effectiveness of various marketing campaigns. Additionally, I launched two new business sectors, one for newborns and the other for high school seniors. I built and maintained social media pages, website pages, and designed targeted social media campaigns for these sectors. I also worked closely with clients to define the scope of creative projects and create customized products and solutions.My day to day work involved overseeing daily, monthly, and yearly operations and a staff of 3 full time employees, several part time and temporary employees, and contract workers. I acted as a project manager for large client projects that required planning, producing, and directing photoshoots. This involved scouting locations, obtaining necessary permits for working on-site, and building teams of creative professionals including models, fashion designers, hair and makeup stylists, set architects, photography and grip assistants, etc.
