Event Manager
I managed all areas of event production including, but not limited to, operations, customer service, sponsor/brand activations, lead up planning + day of event execution, team/volunteer management, collaboration with marketing, pr, and sales departments to create event/brand marketing campaigns and strategies.

Volunteer & Communications Coordinator
Started as the Communication Intern and was promoted to volunteer coordinator. I acted as the liaison between potential customers and ROC Race through email, phone, and social media. I work with various departments at ROC Race and VAVi Sports to make sure our customers/clients are taken care of and directed to the right contacts. As the Volunteer Coordinator, I set up all volunteer opportunities for numerous events. All volunteers or potential volunteers communicated directly to me for any inquiries. Additionally, I did volunteer outreach for all of our ROC Race/VAVi events. I recruited and managed 100-600 volunteers and temp staff for all of our events onsite.

I acted as customer support, by answering all ROC Race participant related phone calls, emails, and social media messages. I additionally, assisted in researching and recruiting volunteers for our international events.
Marketing & Events Team Member (Street Team)
Some of my responsibilities included, promoting upcoming hockey games around San Diego, interacting with fans to promote our promo items at games and in the San Diego area, working our marketing booth at numerous events around San Diego and at home games, assisting different departments with tasks they needed extra help with, and collecting marketing leads at games and throughout San Diego.

I did photo shoots for our products and helped create content to be posted on our media sites. I also coordinated ways to promote our products in the community as well.
Public Relations/Digital Marketing Intern
I assisted the digital marketing team with photo shoots, video shoots and collaborated with them for new ideas to market the company's products. I assisted the Social Media Manager, by researching and providing content for Facebook and Twitter. I planned and coordinated a charity yoga event for Thyroid Cancer, as well as marketed for it around the San Diego Area. I also proofread the monthly newsletter and any other publications sent my way.

I promoted and handed out the San Diego State School newspaper on campus.
