I managed all areas of event production including, but not limited to, operations, customer service, sponsor/brand activations, lead up planning + day of event execution, team/volunteer management, collaboration with marketing, pr, and sales departments to create event/brand marketing campaigns and strategies.

Greater San Diego Area

I assisted the Director of Events with planning and executing all BBB internal + external events. These include, but are not limited to, Networking mixers, Consumer Awareness Workshops, The Annual Torch Awards, Golf Classic Tournament, and internal employee social events. I also delved in sponsorship sales, marketing, brand activation & lots of public speaking.

I assisted the Director of Sponsorship & Events in prepping and completing all of the events the BBB hosts. These include, but are not limited to, Networking mixers, Consumer Awareness Workshops, The Annual Torch Awards, and Golf Classic Tournament. Networking mixers and workshops are solely my responsibility in planning and executing. Although I do receive help when needed from my lovely coworkers! In addition, I am the speaker/presenter for all community seminars, presentations and some workshops that the BBB holds. Lastly, I run our scholarship and student ambassador programs for juniors and seniors in high school.

San Diego

Started as the Communication Intern and was promoted to volunteer coordinator. I acted as the liaison between potential customers and ROC Race through email, phone, and social media. I work with various departments at ROC Race and VAVi Sports to make sure our customers/clients are taken care of and directed to the right contacts. As the Volunteer Coordinator, I set up all volunteer opportunities for numerous events. All volunteers or potential volunteers communicated directly to me for any inquiries. Additionally, I did volunteer outreach for all of our ROC Race/VAVi events. I recruited and managed 100-600 volunteers and temp staff for all of our events onsite.

San Diego, California

I acted as customer support, by answering all ROC Race participant related phone calls, emails, and social media messages. I additionally, assisted in researching and recruiting volunteers for our international events.

Some of my responsibilities included, promoting upcoming hockey games around San Diego, interacting with fans to promote our promo items at games and in the San Diego area, working our marketing booth at numerous events around San Diego and at home games, assisting different departments with tasks they needed extra help with, and collecting marketing leads at games and throughout San Diego.

Carlsbad, Ca

I managed the Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest accounts for numerous company products. I interacted with potential customers online and did social media outreach/blogger outreach. I worked hand in hand with our digital marketing specialist to create new ways to promote our products via social media. I did photo shoots for our products and helped create content to be posted on our media sites. I also coordinated ways to promote our products in the community as well.

Carlsbad, Ca

I assisted the digital marketing team with photo shoots, video shoots and collaborated with them for new ideas to market the company's products. I assisted the Social Media Manager, by researching and providing content for Facebook and Twitter. I planned and coordinated a charity yoga event for Thyroid Cancer, as well as marketed for it around the San Diego Area. I also proofread the monthly newsletter and any other publications sent my way.

I promoted and handed out the San Diego State School newspaper on campus.

I ran and updated the Instagram for the SDSU ice hockey team.

Huntington Beach, Ca

I worked the Red Bull stations at the U.S. Surf Open. This was only a summer job and I sold Red Bull during the duration of the surf open.

Dana Point, Ca

I promoted the Company's products at events around San Diego, as well as, did sampling and promotions inside Grocery Stores throughout San Diego County.
