I had the opportunity to serve in healthcare nursing leadership & management for acute rehabilitation with various functions of the unit. I was responsible for daily operations of the unit, staffing, budget, clinical practice, professional development and strategic planning, managing patient placement, and ensuring nursing competency and nursing care delivery based on standards of care. I was able to supervise, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of patient care and patient safety standards. I developed and implemented clinical nurse performance improvement activities, and monitored compliance with current regulations. I developed and implemented strategies to improve patient satisfaction.
