Aspiring Sound Technician looking to provide engaging sound design for productions of all shapes and sizes. I'm very interested in the sound aspect of film making, whether it's capturing clean on-set audio during production, or mxing and enhancing audio in a DAW. I found my interest first-hand watching many horror movies and noticed the bigger emphasis on the sound design in the horror genre compared to other genres. The type of audio design used to make people uncomfortable and fearful intrigued me because of the expansive creative decisions one can make to scare an audience creating a unique show experience. Working on horror related projects with filmakers wanting to put their audience at the edge of their seat would be a passionate place to supply my skills towards.I gained audio recording and mixing knowledge through BCIT's TV & Film Production Program acting as the Field Recorder and/or Boom Operator for many student productions. I'm eager to utilize the experience I've acquired in school for professional audio recording on any productions in need of clear captured sound.
