• I was the team leader/Manager of our Senior Design group. Collaborating with the City of Harlingen Engineers we designed a detention pond for a flood prone subdivision while analyzing the effects of discharge to a nearby canal using HEC-RAS. Also recommended a vertical lift pump and did an analysis on a city drainage system. • Designed a deep foundation for a pre-existing building to gain experience and knowledge of different foundation types and methods.• Collaborated with a city Engineer to develop a project schedule for a bridge. Familiarized on all aspects of creating a Gantt chart from project plans including takeoffs, construction procedures, lag times, and scheduling software.
