I began my career in banking as a part-time teller in 1994. In 1996 I was promoted to banker. At that time I received my L&D license and subsequently series 6&63. I also held my P&C license. In 1997, I was promoted to teller line supervisor and then to Operations manager in 2000. I became Quality Assurance Officer at Broadway Federal Bank, 2003. My primary responsibility was to audit the branches and review and make changes to Policy and Procedures.I moved to U.S. Bank as AVP, Operations Manager for Wealth Management (2005). As the operations manager I insured we remained compliant and operationally sound. I had several audits during my tenure all were passed with out an issue.January 2012 I relocated to Georgia for personal reasons. October 2012 I attained a position as Bookkeeper with Henry County Board of Education at Austin Road Elementary. My experience in the education system sparked a desire to teach. As a Case Manager I manage adults with mild intellectual disabilities.
